FC Barcelona manager Xavi has said that Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is doing a good job at the Old Trafford outfit.
Xavi was speaking ahead of Barcelona’s Europa League round-of-16 play-off first-leg match against Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United.
Erik ten Hag became Manchester United’s manager in the summer and under the tutelage of the Dutchman, the Red Devils have been largely impressive. Manchester United sits third in the Premier League points table this season, only behind table-toppers Arsenal and defending champions Manchester City.
The Red Devils also remain in contention for EFL Cup, Europa League, and FA Cup titles.

Erik ten Hag is doing a good job at Manchester United, says Xavi
Speaking ahead of Manchester United vs FC Barcelona’s first-leg match of the Europa League play-off tie, Xavi said Erik ten Hag has changed the face of Manchester United.
“Erik ten Hag has changed the face of Manchester United. It’s been tough for him, but he’s doing a good job,” Xavi said.
Meanwhile, Barcelona attacker Raphinha described Manchester United and Barcelona as two of the best teams in the world.
“I think they [Barcelona & Manchester United] are two of the best teams in the world. Barca had a bad time in recent seasons and Manchester did too. All clubs go through difficult times but you have to change your mind to be the best again,” Raphinha said.
Manchester United heads into the game against Barcelona on the back of their 2-0 win over Leeds United. Barcelona, meanwhile, comes into the fixture on the back of their 1-0 win over Villarreal that helped them establish an 11-point lead at the top of the La Liga points table.
Meanwhile, Manchester United finished second in Group E behind Real Sociedad in Europa League 22/23 group stage. Only winners of each group earn direct qualification to the round-of-16. Second-placed teams in each group will have to earn their qualification to the last 16 of the competition by winning the play-off tie.
Barcelona, meanwhile, were knocked out of the Champions League at the group stage after finishing behind Bayern Munich and Inter Milan in Group C. However, their third place in Group C earned them a spot in the Europa League knockout round play-off draw, where they were drawn against Manchester United.
